In Short

• Contribute to building the technical foundations for Nex's platform.
• Focus on either ML Engineering or Framework Engineering.
• Work on machine learning research infrastructure or cross-platform software frameworks.
• Collaborate with ML researchers and engineering teams.
• Write clean, well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and team knowledge sharing.
• Design systems for data workflows and model integration.
• Build tools for automation that move experiments toward production readiness.
• Improve framework stability and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and another systems language (C++, C#, Java, Rust, or Go).
• Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience with real-time software frameworks.
• Experience building developer APIs.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and real-time systems.
• Experience working in small, high-performance teams.
• Background in startups or high-growth environments.
• Passion for technical problem-solving.
• Experience with sensing technologies is a plus.
