Project Controls Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Project Controls Analyst will support project and financial success by tracking, analyzing, and managing essential data, requiring advanced Excel skills and a data-driven approach.

In Short

• Support project status and forecast tracking.
• Manage Purchase Order (PO) tracking and financial analysis.
• Ensure accurate setup and tracking of project line items.
• Monitor PO usage and identify trends through analysis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Compile internal and customer status reports.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and PO issues.
• Ensure data integrity in project databases.
• Prepare billing detail files for the Finance team.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; AS/BS in related field preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience; telecom experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with Quickbase or similar databases preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive ownership and initiative.
• Effective stakeholder communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Python and PowerBI knowledge preferred.
