Overview

The Lead DevOps Engineer will drive Nextech’s DevOps initiatives, providing daily technical direction and mentorship while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure.

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
• Drive innovation in CI/CD, automation, and system architecture.
• Architect and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Enhance monitoring and observability using APM tools.
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders.
• Provide technical coaching and constructive feedback.
• Encourage knowledge sharing and adoption of modern DevOps practices.
• Ensure the team is properly resourced for delivery.
• Carry out additional responsibilities based on business need.

Requirements

• 7+ years in software or infrastructure engineering roles.
• 5+ years of DevOps experience.
• Expertise in Azure or AWS environments.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools and CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
