Join Newton as a Junior FinOps Associate, where you will assist in the execution of cryptocurrency operations and processes, ensuring smooth transactions and continuous improvements.

In Short

• Work with a remote team across Canada.
• Assist in cryptocurrency deposits, withdrawals, and settlements.
• Prepare reports on cryptocurrency inventory and trades.
• Review automated audit logs and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with financial accounting to ensure accurate transaction recording.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by management.
• Work with customer success, product, and development teams.
• Available to work on-call evenings and weekends.
• Possess a general understanding of cryptocurrencies.
• Proficient in Excel with advanced skills.

Requirements

• General understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Comfortable with database structures and data extraction.
• Able to manage multiple requests with clear communication.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Experience with cryptocurrency trading platforms is a bonus.
• Experience in data manipulation and reporting (Python, SQL, etc.) is a bonus.
• Foundational skills in accounting and bookkeeping are a bonus.
