Lead Workday Payroll Technology Analyst - Remote

Overview

New Relic is seeking a highly skilled Lead Workday Payroll Technology Analyst with expertise in Workday Payroll and Compensation modules to join the Finance Technology team. This pivotal role involves optimizing our Workday Payroll system, integrations with third party international providers and providing technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and positively impact the user experience.

In Short

• Partner with stakeholders in Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and other functional areas to identify development needs.
• Provide technical guidance to Senior Workday Payroll Technology Analyst.
• Research and resolve day-to-day Workday Payroll system issues.
• Support the build of integrations between third-party international payroll providers and Workday.
• Own the Workday Payroll worksheets/workbooks including maintenance and enhancements.
• Design and build solutions to streamline payroll processing.
• Create and update Workday configurations based on requirement changes.
• Building advanced custom reports and processing large data sets.
• Lead the roll out of Workday Time Tracking module to additional countries.
• Create and write Standard Operation procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on implementation or administration experience with Workday Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Workday APIs and Workday Studio.
• Strong knowledge of PECI files and integrations with third party payroll providers.
• Completion of one Workday Pro track and exam within the first year of employment.
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM and interoperability with payroll.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal audit frameworks.
