Overview

Ness Digital Engineering is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to support the migration of HERE Technologies’ Metadata Object Model (MOM) from an older version to a newer version, focusing on complex geospatial metadata structures.

In Short

Work on migration of geospatial metadata models.
Analyze existing MOM version and design migration logic.
Implement tools for metadata transformation and testing.
Collaborate with data architects and platform engineers.
Document workflows and contribute to onboarding materials.
Utilize Java and Scala programming skills.
Experience with geospatial data and metadata systems required.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills needed.
5+ years of software development experience required.
Ability to work in a distributed team environment.

Requirements

Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
5+ years of software development experience in Java and Scala.
Good knowledge of issue tracking and code collaboration tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience with data migration and ETL processes.
