• Design scalable solutions: Architect, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Deliver high-quality code: Implement Spring Boot applications following best practices in clean code, testing, and performance optimization.
• Drive modern deployment practices: Collaborate with DevOps to containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and integrate CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins.
• Leverage event-driven architecture: Use Kafka to build robust, asynchronous systems that support scalability and decoupled services.
• Optimize data interactions: Design and maintain efficient Oracle database integrations that ensure data integrity and system responsiveness.
• Contribute to strong engineering standards: Engage in architectural discussions, perform code reviews, and contribute to high engineering standards.
• Mentor and grow the team: Provide guidance to junior developers and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development using Java 8 or above.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful microservices.
• Solid understanding of Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for automated build and deployment.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries and working with databases.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, message-driven systems, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile development practices.
• Advanced English language skills.
