Senior Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer with a strong background in both low-code platforms and traditional server-side development.

In Short

• 4 days onsite in NYC and 1 remote day.
• Deep technical expertise in asset and trade allocation processes.
• Experience with Mendix, Java/Python, and SQL.
• Focus on modernization and migration/refactoring of legacy systems.
• Deliver high-performance server-side applications using multi-threading.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams.
• Design and optimize data models and queries for asset allocation.
• Maintain alignment with business needs in a financial services environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in No-Code/Low-Code platforms, especially Mendix.
• Experience with Java and/or Python for backend development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database tuning.
• Experience with multi-threading and concurrency techniques.
• Knowledge of application migration and codebase refactoring.
• Domain knowledge in asset allocation and trade execution processes.
