NeoGenomics has an opening for an Order Entry Specialist who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow.

In Short

• This position is fully remote and will work a schedule of Monday-Friday, Days.
• This position is on Temporary status, covering for an extended medical leave of absence.
• Enters patient demographics and insurances into a proprietary database.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and ensures accurate insurance assignment.
• Maintains data entry requirements by following written procedures.
• Maintains productivity set by the department with a 95% accuracy rating.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Must follow HIPAA compliant regulations.
• Ability to read and decipher medical terminology if certified.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects data.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical billing.
• Knowledge of reimbursement processes and billing.
• Solid computer skills with emphasis on MS Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of adapting to multiple applications of software.
• Must be comfortable working in a team environment.
