Overview

We are looking for a Technical Author with a proven record of delivering high quality technical documentation for software applications.

In Short

• Join a team responsible for creating online help, user guides, and training material.
• Work on documentation projects with opportunities for ownership.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify technical aspects.
• Produce engaging and professional documentation.
• Manage documentation projects efficiently.
• Travel to UK office locations occasionally for meetings.

Requirements

• Considerable technical writing experience in a software environment.
• Experience with context-sensitive online help.
• Proficient in MadCap Flare or RoboHelp.
• Good understanding of technical authoring processes.
• Working knowledge of HTML/XHTML.
• Ability to manage large projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong command of English and excellent writing skills.
• Good technical understanding of IT systems.
• Attention to detail in comparing documentation to software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
