Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise across Windows, Unix/Linux, and networking environments to implement and maintain core infrastructure systems ensuring high availability, performance, and security across our Public Cloud Enterprise.

In Short

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise infrastructure spanning Windows and Unix/Linux systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers.
• Configure and maintain core network services, including firewalls and load balancers.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex system, network, and performance issues.
• Support infrastructure automation and configuration management initiatives.
• Collaborate with Security teams to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide support and technical mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in IT infrastructure engineering or systems administration.
• Strong proficiency with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
• Advanced experience with Unix/Linux systems.
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or OCI).
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Terraform.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
