Staff Software Engineer (Salesforce Developer & Integrations Manager) - Remote

Overview

The NBCUniversal Salesforce Technology team is seeking a Staff Salesforce Developer who brings a collaborative mindset to building solutions that work for our business.

In Short

• Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives.
• Build Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
• Design and operate integrations among enterprise systems.
• Maintain clear documentation of technical solutions and procedures.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
• Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements like reliability and security.
• Keep up to date with Salesforce best practices and technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and maintain expertise with development tools such as VS Code and GitHub.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in Salesforce development.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce integration patterns.
• Mastery of Salesforce data modeling and design considerations.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce security models.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components and Visualforce.
• Proven experience in source-based Salesforce development using GitHub.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Salesforce developer certifications are a plus.
• Experience in the Media & Entertainment industry is desirable.
