Senior Post Workflow Automation Architect - Remote

Overview

The Senior Post Workflow Automation Architect is responsible for helping design solutions in our post-production automation platform, gathering requirements from clients and translating them into development projects.

In Short

• Lead the design of automated solutions for NBCU Post Production.
• Gather requirements from clients alongside the Workflow Engineering team.
• Understand full end-to-end infrastructure to drive automation solutions.
• Architect new solutions from both software and infrastructure perspectives.
• Open tickets with the development team to meet client requirements.
• Assist with QA of development projects.
• Document new features as they are released.
• Collaborate with support teams as needed.
• Maintain internal GitHub repository with the Automation Engineering team.
• Provide internal L3 support for issues.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in DevOps engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience gathering project requirements from clients.
• Understanding of third-party and internal REST APIs.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure for automating file movement.
• Experience creating solutions in Windows and Linux.
• Experience with code management in GitHub.
• Extensive experience with the software build process.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
• Experience in the Media and Entertainment space.
