Senior Cloud Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Sr Cloud Automation Engineer is responsible for helping design solutions in our post-production automation platform, gathering requirements from production and engineering clients, and translating them into development projects.

In Short

• Research, design, and implement new solutions for moving automation to the public cloud.
• Manage large data models for reporting events captured by the automation platform.
• Enable integration of cognitive services into the automation pipeline.
• Set up and manage proof of concepts (POCs) with cloud infrastructure teams.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Workflow team for cloud-based solutions.
• Assist with Development QA during testing phases.
• Create documentation and train team members on new implementations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and/or data architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Azure Functions and AWS Lambda.
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud-based data lakes and warehouses.
• Familiarity with Azure cognitive services and AWS equivalents.
• Proficient in scripting and automation tools, including PowerShell.
