Software Development Engineer in Test - Remote

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team!

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) ensures efforts are in alignment with the Strategic Technology Systems Development team to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions and services to simplify people’s lives. This position will take a role in Navitus’ strategic initiatives to implement a suite of testing tools and further developing our software quality assurance expertise. This role will be responsible for learning the programming languages necessary for the utilization of the selected tools and will support implementation of the scripts to run automated testing.

In Short

• Experience creating test cases, developing automation scripts, analyzing and reporting results in a QA environment
• Knowledge of industry-standard software Quality Assurance methodologies, processes (TDD/BDD), and tools (Ready API, JMeter, Postman, TestNG, Selenium etc.)
• Expertise in breaking down feature requirements to design efficient targeted & end-to-end testing scenarios
• Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Proven experience in API load testing and functional testing
• Experience developing automated testing in the following languages - C#, C++, Python
• Experience with cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Generate automated test scripts
• Demonstrated experience in enabling test suites to align with a CI/CD process (ADO, Git)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience required in the field of Computer Science with a focus on Software Testing or Quality Assurance and/or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience
• Some travel may be required (Up to 5%)
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
