Overview

Archipelago is redefining the landscape of commercial property insurance with an AI-powered data network, seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to build and maintain a test automation framework.

In Short

Build, deploy and maintain automated test infrastructure.
Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies.
Integrate with CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
Establish processes for maintaining automation scripts.
Diagnose issues and propose regression tests.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams.
Automate 90% of manual regression tests.
Ensure end-to-end automation for new UI functionality.

Requirements

3+ years of software development experience.
Familiarity with automation frameworks like Cypress or Selenium.
Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
Experience with performance/security testing is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a distributed team.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Work approximately 4+ hours overlap with US time zones.
