In Short

• Own and lead Nav’s monthly and annual financial close process
• Manage our relationship with external auditors and lead the annual audit process
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and evolving regulatory requirements
• Oversee all aspects of accounting, including revenue recognition, commissions, accruals, and intercompany transactions
• Manage Nav’s treasury operations, including cash management, forecasting, and banking relationships
• Oversee equity administration and cap table management in partnership with Legal
• Partner with FP&A to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting packages
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, HR, Product, and Engineering
• Drive automation and process improvements to reduce month-end close time
• Support implementation and optimization of accounting systems and tools

Requirements

• A proven accounting leader with 7+ years of experience
• CPA required; public company or late-stage private company experience preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Experience managing audits and internal control frameworks
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Skilled communicator who thrives in cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in M&A and high-growth startup environments strongly preferred
