Data Governance Consultant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Governance Consultant with deep expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) to join our growing team. In this client-facing role, you will lead the design and implementation of robust data governance frameworks and MDM strategies that enable trusted, high-quality data across enterprise systems. You’ll work closely with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data is well-defined, well-managed, and fit for purpose.

• Partner with client stakeholders to define data governance strategies aligned to business goals.
• Design and implement MDM solutions for consistent and authoritative data.
• Develop data policies and stewardship models.
• Establish metadata management practices and data lineage tracking.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data governance or MDM consulting roles.
• Strong understanding of MDM principles and architectures.
• Experience with governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Talend.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Comfortable in agile, client-facing environments.
