Narvar is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to build new product features that delight customers and guide the future of their web application by partnering with a cross-functional team.

In Short

Own the architecture of new product platforms.
Implement scalable architecture.
Write high-quality, modular code.
Advocate for best practices in system design and testing.
Develop a highly concurrent and distributed system.
Define architecture models and roadmaps.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders.
Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

BS/MS from a tier-1 institution or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in backend development.
Hands-on experience in architecture and development of enterprise applications.
Experience with resilient distributed systems.
Experience managing large systems in the cloud.
Proven track record in delivering scalable systems.
Solid organizational and communication skills.
Deep expertise in server-side languages like Java, Python, Go, Scala, Rust.
Experience with RESTful APIs.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
Experience with high volume SaaS products.
Experience with Containers and Kubernetes.
Previous startup experience preferred.
