The Cook prepares a variety of food items for contract meals, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation regulations while providing supervision to staff in the absence of managers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of previous cooking experience required.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Allergen Awareness Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to supervise co-workers and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to work in stressful and emergency situations.
• Knowledge of food ordering processes.
• Ability to handle kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends as needed.
