Senior Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Sr. Backend Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the backbone of our systems and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

In Short

• Collaborate with product managers and the team to implement features based on customer feedback and requirements.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve performance and system reliability problems.
• Craft scalable and maintainable architectures that align with best practices and long-term goals.
• Manage hosting environments and tools like New Relic, and Kubernetes, and ensure uptime and performance stability.
• 5+ Years of Relevant Experience with Ruby on Rails: Proficiency in backend development, with expertise in Rails frameworks.
• Strong understanding of relational database technologies and optimization.
• Experience in integrating and working with third-party APIs.
• Familiarity with modern testing tools and practices to ensure code quality.
• A passion for creating products that address user needs effectively.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements

• Upper-intermediate English level
• Big advantage: Infrastructure Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools.
• Frontend Experience: A working knowledge of frontend frameworks and technologies is a plus.
