Legal Counsel, Commercial and Regulatory - Remote

In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including merchant, enterprise, and platform partnership contracts
• Advise on regulatory compliance across transportation, logistics, labor classification, and marketplace operations
• Partner with Sales and Partnerships teams to support deal execution and scalable contract processes
• Provide legal guidance on product launches, marketplace policies, and operational risk mitigation
• Monitor regulatory changes across markets and ensure compliance readiness
• Support dispute resolution, claims escalation, and risk management initiatives
• Collaborate with Compliance, Trust & Safety, and Finance teams on governance frameworks
• Build scalable legal playbooks, templates, and contracting workflows as Muvr grows

Requirements

• JD and active bar membership in good standing
• 5+ years of experience in commercial law, regulatory counsel, or in-house legal roles
• Strong experience negotiating B2B agreements and supporting high-growth businesses
• Excellent legal judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment
