Community & Creative Lead - Remote

Overview

Mushroom Compadres is a functional mushroom company from Portugal. We grow the mushrooms ourselves and regenerate a farm with the substrate. We give back to community with events, experience and a non-profit. We are looking for someone to help make the brand impossible to ignore across organic social and creator collaborations.

In Short

• Own and grow our Instagram and TikTok presence
• Develop and execute organic content ideas in line with the Mushroom Compadres brand
• Plan, create, coordinate, and publish content across both channels
• Run influencer and creator outreach, partnerships, and collaborations
• Help shape content series, campaign ideas, and community engagement
• Write captions, hooks, and social copy in our brand voice
• Work with our designer to brief and produce visual assets where needed
• Support our twice-monthly newsletter with copy and coordination
• Spot cultural moments and opportunities and move quickly on them
• Bring ideas proactively, not just execution

Requirements

• Strong instinct for branding, taste, and what feels culturally alive
• Experience managing Instagram and TikTok for a brand, creator, or project
• Experience with influencer or creator collaborations
• Strong copywriting skills
• High initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
• Ability to think creatively and execute consistently
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
• Good English required; Portuguese is a plus
• Based in Portugal is strongly preferred
