Legal Counsel - EMEA - Remote

Overview

Woolpert Europe is seeking a seasoned and strategic Legal Counsel for EMEA to support and manage legal operations across the region, providing expert legal guidance in various areas.

In Short

• Manage all legal matters across the EMEA region.
• Provide legal support across corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters.
• Advise on GDPR compliance and data protection strategies.
• Support HR and operational teams on employment law issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Manage external counsel relationships and legal budgets.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments.
• Lead internal training on key legal topics.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a legal degree and admission to practice in at least one EMEA jurisdiction.
• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience.
• Broad legal expertise across corporate, commercial, and employment law.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and data protection frameworks.
• Familiarity with health & safety legislation.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal issues.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset.
