Business Intelligence (BI) Developer / Data Visualization Analyst (Temporary) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer / Data Visualization Analyst to enhance, streamline, and expand our existing Power BI Dashboard and related analytics infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, improving usability, and delivering actionable insights to support executive-level decision-making. The role is temporary, project-based for 60 days.

In Short

• Dashboard Optimization & Maintenance
• Audit and clean the existing data feed sourced from Oracle to ensure integrity and consistency.
• Enhance and reformat existing dashboards to improve user experience and interface usability.
• Build new dashboards and a high-level summary dashboard to support business goals.
• Implement robust data governance processes (load checks and error flagging)
• Data Integration & Mapping
• Add new data source (Demand Plan)
• Locate, improve, and maintain mapping files such as product and customer mappings.
• Streamline and align hierarchy mappings between multiple sources of data
• Collaboration & Handover
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define dashboard requirements and deliver enhancements.
• Transition ownership of dashboard maintenance to internal team members, including documentation and training.

Requirements

• Proven experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with data lakes and enterprise databases (especially Oracle).
• Familiarity with data governance principles and error handling best practices.
