Sync Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Sync team is looking for a senior software engineer who is motivated by curiosity, continuous learning and working collaboratively in the open. You will help bring the connected Firefox experience to more global users.

In Short

• Provide Firefox users with seamless access to their personal and browsing data across devices.
• Evolve the Application-Services library for sync and storage features.
• Support Sync and Send/Close tab functionality across devices.
• Deliver features that enhance the utility of Firefox.
• Provide feedback and documentation to improve team practices.

Requirements

• Experience with low-level languages such as C++, Golang, or Rust.
• Strong knowledge of web or native application development in JavaScript, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Ability to work independently and understand business value.
• Excellent communication skills for sharing ideas and documentation.
