Technical Project Manager - Hardware - Remote

Overview

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) role within the Motive Hardware organization is intended for individuals who will take total ownership of change management to improve in-market products and drive them to successful completion.

In Short

• Lead and coordinate contributions from various teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Prepare formal project plans including schedules and deliverables.
• Administer a formal review process for development phases.
• Develop strategies to minimize schedule and technical risks.
• Validate that test plans are complete and testing is successful.
• Respond to project issues by coordinating resolutions across multiple groups.
• Coach engineers and product managers on best practices.
• Manage projects involving multiple teams across different sites.
• Experience in fast-paced environments managing multiple projects.
• Ability to lead without authority and prioritize effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in end-to-end product development including firmware.
• Experience with project scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
• Successful launch of complex embedded products.
• Experience managing outsourced vendors.
• Capacity to work in a continuously changing environment.
