• Monitor automation metrics for continuous quality & process improvements.
• Collaborate with the various teams at Motive to understand test automation needs.
• Lead programmatic best practices by example, be a hands-on programmer and tech guru.
• Estimating efforts, identifying risks, devising mitigation and meeting the project’s automation schedules.
• Contribute to/Maintain test automation framework development.

Requirements

• Expertise in Java-based Test Automation: 5+ years of experience and deep, hands-on proficiency in Java for building and maintaining robust test automation.
• Specialised API & UI Testing Experience: Proven experience developing automation for Backend/API and creating reliable UI tests.
• A Software Engineering Mindset: Adhere to industry best practices, including object-oriented design and clean code principles.
• Proven Ownership and Impact: Track record of owning the test automation strategy for significant product features.
• CI/CD and DevOps Acumen: Hands-on experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Complex Systems Thinking: Experience testing in a distributed cloud environment, ideally AWS.
• Strong Collaboration Skills: Excel at working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is a shared responsibility.
