Overview

The Senior Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness and productivity of the Sales Team at Motive, focusing on enterprise-level sales.

In Short

  • Partner with Enterprise Account Executives for discovery calls and product demonstrations.
  • Provide customized demonstrations of the Motive product.
  • Match customer pains with proposed solutions.
  • Become an expert on Motive’s competition.
  • Work with Enterprise AEs on RFIs and RFPs.
  • Act as a sales liaison between internal organizations.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a pre-sales/sales engineering role.
  • Ability to travel ~30%.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills required.
  • Experience in the Transportation & Logistics industry is a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Bachelor's of Science preferred.
  • Proven track record in selling complex solutions.
  • Experience with Enterprise sales cycles.
  • Experience with APIs and integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
