Overview

The Senior Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness and productivity of the Sales Team at Motive, focusing on increasing revenue growth.

In Short

  • Partner with Strategic Account Executives for discovery calls and product demonstrations.
  • Provide customized demonstrations of the Motive product offering.
  • Match customer pains and requirements to proposed solutions.
  • Become an expert on Motive’s competition.
  • Work with Enterprise AEs to respond to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Act as a sales liaison between multiple internal organizations.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a pre-sales/sales engineering capacity.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Ability to travel ~30%.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years working with Strategic-level sales prospects.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MS a plus.
  • Ability to travel ~30%.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Enterprise sales cycles.
  • Experience in the Transportation & Logistics industry is a plus.
  • Experience with APIs and integrations.
  • Ideally located in PA, WV, VA, DC, MD, NC, SC.
