Camera Embedded Firmware Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Camera Firmware Engineering Developer, you will be a key member of the Hardware team shaping the way we develop our products. You will design, execute, and test complex embedded features on a range of platforms.

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for camera modules and imaging systems.
• Implement control logic for sensors and camera-related components.
• Integrate camera drivers into existing platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams for debugging and tuning.
• Optimize firmware for performance and reliability.
• Conduct system-level debugging and root cause analysis.
• Develop test utilities and automation tools.
• Document design specifications and best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in embedded platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong programming experience in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with Linux and Android development.
• Experience with SoCs from Qualcomm or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of camera drivers and video encoder optimization.
• Familiarity with mobile/automotive camera frameworks.
• Scripting experience in Python or Bash.
