Overview

Morning Brew is seeking an Editorial Director to oversee our three consumer-facing newsletters: Morning Brew, Brew Markets, and The Playbook. This role will deepen and expand each newsletter’s relationship with its readers and lead future consumer-facing newsletter launches.

In Short

• Oversee three consumer-facing newsletters
• Drive and execute the editorial vision
• Ensure stylistic consistency across publications
• Serve as a liaison with various stakeholders
• Manage staff and resources across publications
• Support the launch of new consumer newsletters
• Provide editing support when necessary
• Push publications forward editorially and product-wise
• Report to the President of Morning Brew Inc.
• Work closely with the Editor at Large

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an editor
• Experience in newsletters, especially in business and finance
• Strong editorial skills and news judgement
• Product orientation with data-driven decision-making
• Ability to work well with others
• Deep understanding of Morning Brew’s style
• Strong connection to business news brands
