Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for financial reporting and compliance, ensuring the integrity of technical accounting and external financial reporting while working in a team environment.

In Short

• Responsible for quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements
• Maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting
• Research accounting issues and prepare position papers
• Prepare quarterly and year-end SEC financial reports
• Liaison with independent accountants
• Perform goodwill and impairment testing
• Prepare non-GAAP reconciliations
• Complete GAAP disclosure checklist
• Guide non-routine accounting entries

Requirements

• Strong project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with SEC compliance
• Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Familiarity with XBRL
• Experience in goodwill and impairment testing
• Ability to research and document accounting issues
• Proficiency in preparing financial reports
