Overview

As a Fraud Analyst at MoonPay, you will play a crucial role in preventing and reducing fraud in a rapidly changing Web3 environment, utilizing your experience in online fraud prevention and analytics.

• Analyze and investigate suspicious transactions in real time.
• Lead complex fraud investigations and develop prevention strategies.
• Monitor and refine fraud detection tools for accuracy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fraud detection and prevention.
• Experience in rule backtesting and fraud mitigation.
• Strong knowledge of fraud detection tools and methodologies.
• Experience with large data sets and data analytics tools.
• Understanding of fraud and chargeback card schemes.
• Experience in the cryptocurrency/Web3 industry is advantageous.
• Knowledge of machine learning or AI-based fraud detection systems.
• Coding ability in SQL, Python, etc.
