Overview

The Specialist, Medicare Member Engagement is responsible for enhancing member engagement and retention through quality improvements, focusing on onboarding and education regarding member plans.

In Short

  • Conduct outreach to new Medicare members to assist with their plans.
  • Serve as a navigator for members during the onboarding process.
  • Log all member contacts in a database.
  • Participate in member engagement work groups.
  • Attend regular member benefits training.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • 2 years of experience in customer service or healthcare systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of managed healthcare systems and Medicare.
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in related field.
