Housing Specialist, Phoenix AZ area - Remote

Overview

Molina Healthcare of Arizona is hiring for a Housing Specialist in the greater Phoenix/Maricopa County area. This role will be a combination of field-based and remote, requiring candidates to live within Maricopa County.

In Short

• Assist with housing search and placement for members at risk of homelessness.
• Work with care managers and internal departments for resource coordination.
• Conduct intake interviews to assess housing barriers.
• Advocate for members to access affordable housing.
• Maintain communication with involved parties regarding housing solutions.
• Participate in housing outreach events.
• Document client interactions and maintain accurate records.
• Travel locally for client visits (5-25%).
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with underserved populations.
• Knowledge of affordable housing and community resources.
• Familiarity with state and federal housing regulations.
• Experience with case management plans.
• Current Community Health Worker (CHW) Certification preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Experience with mental health issues is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
