Overview

The AVP Proposal Strategy is dedicated to maximizing Molina’s likelihood of winning Medicaid RFPs. The AVP must have the executive presence and communication skills required to build trust across stakeholders to package Molina’s winning Proposal for state partners, synthesize business development and capture activities, and map key solutions and strategies which align with anticipated RFPs.

In Short

  • Lead cross-functional Proposal Strategy engagements.
  • Stand-in for the VP of Proposal Development on individual bids.
  • Develop relationships to translate state needs into actionable strategies.
  • Design and execute Proposal Strategy aligned with RFP requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate multiple Proposal Strategy opportunities.
  • Create key deliverables for internal and external audiences.
  • Support competitive analysis activities.
  • Identify opportunities and gaps in proposals.
  • Champion continuous improvement and consult with creativity.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.

Requirements

  • Graduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of Medicaid managed care experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to influence and form strong partnerships.
  • Experience with Medicaid Proposals and business development.
