Overview

The AVP, Market Share is responsible for leading and implementing the strategy that drives improved market share through choice adds, auto-assignment, retention and redetermination. This includes understanding the landscape of membership growth and aligning goals to support the retention and growth strategy. Working across the enterprise, this position is required to make data driven decisions, prioritizing outcomes, executing on a market share vision and ensuring we meet financial expectations.

In Short

  • Establish and lead market share strategy.
  • Analyze county/regions for prioritization.
  • Operationalize and measure retention and enrollment outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate data for market share baseline.
  • Set goals/targets to increase market share.
  • Influence Health Plan growth leaders.
  • Partner on member choice and auto assignment.
  • Educate organization on market share strategy.
  • Create guiding principles and priorities.
  • Report on progress in senior leadership meetings.

Requirements

  • Graduate Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years experience in managed care.
  • 5 years management/supervisory experience.
  • Exceptional networking and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience in data analytics.
  • Knowledge of State, Federal, and third-party regulations.
  • Understanding of Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare.
  • Ability to maintain positive work relationships.
