Join Molecular Devices as a Field Application Scientist, where you will provide pre- and post-sales support for our Cellular Workflow Automation portfolio, contributing to scientific discovery in life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology.

In Short

• Provide high-quality pre- and post-sales support to customers.
• Perform product demonstrations and support evaluations at customer sites.
• Conduct training on instruments, assays, and automation solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations at customer sites and trade shows.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to enhance customer care.
• Network with opinion leaders to drive technology adoption.
• Manage territory with travel and scheduling.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in life science or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French/Italian is a plus.
• Up to 50% travel across Europe required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life science with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or Doctoral degree.
• Strong scientific knowledge and technical ability.
• Excellent time/project management skills.
• Self-motivated and independent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with data analysis software.
• Experience in culturing mammalian and microbial cells.
• Ability to travel and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with lab automation and 3D cell models is a plus.
• Excellent English language skills required.
• Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
