In Short

• Lead the Data Platform team in designing and delivering foundational infrastructure.
• Partner with a Staff Engineer to define a compelling technical roadmap.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build features that meet real-world needs.
• Champion system reliability, scalability, observability, and governance.
• Foster strong engineering standards through key projects and code reviews.
• Mentor and support engineers in their development paths.
• Communicate updates on priorities and platform vision clearly.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading teams.
• Experience building internal platforms or developer tools in a data-intensive environment.
• Strong understanding of modern data infrastructure tools.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and containers.
• Ability to lead cross-functional work streams.
• A product mindset focused on solving user problems.
• Willingness to contribute technically while building a team.
