Overview

The AFL Team Operations Coordinator oversees one of the six Arizona Fall League teams and stadium, interacting with various stakeholders including fans, stadium staff, and MLB affiliates.

In Short

• Coordinate staff/player travel
• Provide daily updates on player medicals/availability
• Coordinate team workouts with field manager
• Assist communications team with media requests
• Prepare daily lineups/rosters for distribution
• Monitor stadium operations and fan experience
• Travel with the team for road games
• Execute autograph requests for initiatives
• Assist players with community appearances
• Facilitate adherence to health and safety protocols

Requirements

• Must be a college graduate
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
• Participation in athletics at collegiate/professional level a plus
• Must work well independently and collaboratively
• Operational accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to develop professional relationships
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google G-Suite
• Availability to work nights and weekends
