Business Intelligence Analyst - Remote

In Short

• Drive business decision-making by developing insights and visualizations that uncover trends in customer behavior, product usage, financial performance, and operational efficiency.
• Accelerate strategic alignment by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business goals into measurable KPIs and actionable data products.
• Identify growth levers and mitigate risks by proactively analyzing complex datasets, revealing patterns that inform product, customer, and market strategies.
• Champion data trust by establishing validation workflows and collaborating with engineering to ensure high-integrity, reliable data that powers confident decision-making.
• Increase organizational efficiency by automating key workflows, enabling teams to spend more time acting on data rather than collecting it.
• Enable innovation and agility through rapid, insight-driven responses to evolving business questions and emerging strategic opportunities.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in a BI analyst, business analyst, or data analyst role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, reporting best practices, and KPI development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills—you’re comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• A knack for simplifying complexity and telling stories with data.
• Experience in a SaaS, data infrastructure, or startup environment.
• Exposure to Python or R for deeper data analysis is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of usage and telemetry data for software platforms.
• Knowledge of financial modeling or revenue analytics.
