Business Intelligence Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a BI Analyst at Jellyvision, you will help the business leverage data to support teams across the organization. You will provide ad-hoc analysis, long-term reporting, and data-driven insights to key stakeholders in Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing, and Operations.

In Short

• Deliver robust analytical insight with a “root cause” focus
• Create reports, visualizations, and dashboards in Looker
• Design and maintain robust data models (DBT and LookML)
• Work with data from multiple sources: Salesforce, Product Events, Postgres databases
• Standardize data definitions and reporting across Looker
• Maintain data documentation and business metric definitions
• Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver ad-hoc analytics
• Train business users on data visualization tools
• Support and respond to questions from business stakeholders

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working with data and relational databases
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL, DBT, and LookML
• Familiarity with Looker
• Analytical mindset with a passion for insights
• Ability to translate technical data for non-technical audiences
