Overview

The Merchant Services Underwriter/Risk & Chargeback Analyst will review merchant applications, assess financial risk, and ensure compliance with regulations while working with proprietary software.

In Short

• Review and underwrite merchant accounts
• Analyze financial risk and exposure
• Utilize proprietary software for risk assessment
• Communicate with management on risk decisions
• Perform investigations of disputed transactions
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations
• Provide risk-related support to various teams
• Monitor transaction volumes for anomalies
• Calculate chargeback ratios
• Participate in risk management initiatives

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Banking and Payments
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Knowledge of Chargebacks and Financial Payments
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities
• Experience in customer service
• Knowledge of compliance laws
• Experience with Infinicept is a plus
