Overview

Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients’ recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.

In Short

• Monitors and initiates claim appeals on all insurance claims and pending receivables after final bill.
• Prepares appeal letters to insurance carriers when not in agreement with claim denial.
• Understands reason and denial codes from payors and resolves claim denials.
• Verifies patient eligibility and resolves any problems.
• Contacts customers to verify insurance information.
• Identifies areas for improvement within the billing department.
• Works to decrease A/R days to industry standards.
• Assists with monthly close functions.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
• Participates in educational activities and attends staff meetings.
