Overview

Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients’ recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs, and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.

In Short

• Prepares appeal letters to insurance carriers for denied claims.
• Understands denial codes and resolves claim denials.
• Verifies patient eligibility and resolves issues.
• Contacts customers and insurance companies for information and payment issues.
• Identifies areas for improvement within the billing department.
• Works to decrease accounts receivable days to industry standards.
• Corrects claims for re-submission.
• Assists with monthly close functions.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
• Participates in educational activities and staff meetings.
