Project Accountant II - Remote

Overview

The Project Accountant will support federal contracting subsidiaries with project-based activities by performing tasks related to project setup, planning, analysis, and closeout.

• Work with leadership and project managers to prepare reports and analysis.
• Process payroll according to project costing.
• Track project status ensuring execution and compliance.
• Manage contractual risks and documentation.
• Assist in financial aspects of project close-out.
• Review subcontractor payment applications for accuracy.

Requirements

• Finance or accounting degree.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in construction accounting is helpful.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• Positive relationship skills with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
