Senior Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

Western National Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to ensure that assigned systems are working optimally and to support the development of new technologies.

In Short

• Implement and upgrade network services including routers, firewalls, and switches.
• Create and maintain documentation for server and network configurations.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Manage service providers and contracts for networking solutions.
• Assist in capacity planning for new server and networking equipment.
• Act as a subject matter expert on enterprise systems.
• Perform complex configuration and testing activities.
• Develop improvements to enhance network performance.
• Support customer experience standards and resolve issues effectively.

Requirements

• Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
• Experience in project planning and team direction.
• Ability to develop and support software applications.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in core systems and software packages.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
