Overview

Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Production Underwriter to join our Commercial Lines Underwriting Team, responsible for writing new commercial lines accounts to enhance profitability while building strong agency relationships.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of industry best practices and underwriting concepts.
• Ability to multitask and solve complex problems.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license for agency visits.
• Bachelor’s degree in insurance or finance preferred.
• Mentorship or coaching skills.
• Insurance-related certification preferred.
• Proficient in core systems and software.
