Overview

Michael Baker International is seeking a Full Time Senior Environmental Project Manager specializing in environmental review under CEQA and NEPA, focusing on transportation infrastructure projects.

In Short

• Manage and prepare CEQA/NEPA documents.
• Engage in business development and client relations.
• Coordinate with teams and oversee staff.
• Work on federally and locally funded roadway projects.
• Interact with Caltrans and other transportation agencies.
• Provide project management including cost tracking and progress reports.
• Mentor staff and ensure quality control.
• Prepare proposals and conduct client interviews.
• Travel locally for fieldwork and meetings.
• Work both remotely and in-person.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Planning, Ecology or related field.
• 10+ years of experience preferred.
• Proven project management and client relations experience.
• Strong business development focus.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel locally.
